Picture Books for Pre-readers Easy to Read Books for Beginners Young Readers Upper Elementary or Middle School High School to Adult Guidelines for Choosing Great Books You Can Teach Your Child to Read Learn By Listening	Reading List for LDS Students Sometimes I get asked to recommend literature for children. Here is my list of great books, some specifically LDS, some not, for your children (and you!) to read. Most of these books can be found at your local library and bookstores. A few are out of print or only available from LDS bookstores. When generally available, I have included a link to Amazon, or another bookstore for your convenience. This is not a definitive list and there are lots of great books missing, but it's a good beginning. Ages are approximate and many books are appropriate for all ages, especially with supervision. Children may be able to listen to books read aloud that are far above their reading level. Also, a lot of these books can double as history curricula.
