What’s So Great About America?—Dinesh D’Souza
Posted on August 6, 2008
Several years ago I read Dinesh D’Souza’s bestselling book, What’s So Great About America? and was very impressed. This lecture to the Young America’s Foundation is sort of an update to the book rather than a repetition. It stands on its own but may entice you to read the book as well. The lecture is about 30 minutes long and is suitable for high schoolers and adults.

It Takes a Family to Raise a Village
Posted on July 9, 2008
I was recently introduced to the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. According to their website, “The Intercollegiate Studies Institute (ISI) is a non-profit, non-partisan, tax-exempt educational organization whose purpose is to convey to successive generations of college youth a better understanding of the values and institutions that sustain a free and virtuous society.”
The website has a nice lecture library that contains video, audio and pdf versions of lectures that promote the values of ISI.
This particular lecture is given by Jennifer Morse, a research fellow at Acton University. She explains how she learned the importance of the family in a free society and the Marxist views that are infiltrating our society.
